MALE SPEAKER: When I started the MBA program in August, I must say, it was the beginning of a 15-month course in Iraq, so that’s how I started the program and this coming summer facing another twelve months deployment to Afghanistan. Well, because I work full time, I’m in the US army and I’m in a personal deployment to Iraq so the program has to be flexible and I needed to be one hundred percent online. Some of the programs require you to come down to the university for maybe a semester or just for some classes but the program needs you to be a hundred percent online.
MALE SPEAKER 2: Well, I think you’ve heard this all before but just being able to take the class and from the partner of your own home, means having to abandon, you know, your job and go back to school full time. I know I will never be able to do that again unfortunately. Of course, I would like to but, you know, I’ve been, I know that my program is great, having a set schedule or do the syllabus, are thing you do but at the same time, you get things done. Of course, when you could get them done, and that was a freedom to what I was doing but, it’s the same for the whole thing so.
MALE SPEAKER 3: I think it was ideal for an online degree, I took a job that I have to do that was significant about travelling, I needed that, the flexibility to be able to log in at any time. There’s some schoolwork, day or night, 24/7, and all that stuff and it’s just similar to anywhere where I have an internet connection, going to a reputable, well known university where I could get a solid degree. It’s not one of those fly by night programs but well known universities have offered that in online programs. So given the flexibility of being able to stay and being able to log in to do the program and not ever having to come to Tallahassee does mean a driving force for me to come to stay for the program.
MALE SPEAKER 4: I want to continue my education, all the masters and the online program is fit because it allows me to continue the program in Fort Lauderdale and allow me to also continue to carry it in the other state, as you know, I’m a lawyer. I would recommend to anyone, the program was great, the teachers were great. The teachers were the same as the teacher who teach in the actual campus classes so everything translates perfectly the same, the textbooks, the notes, the power point presentations. Everything is the same as if you were in the actual classroom so I would definitely recommend it to anyone.
