Accreditation is the key to check the credibility of a school or university. Capella University is accredited by The Higher Learning Commission and is a member of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools (NCA). Capella's mental health counseling and marital, couple and family counseling/therapy specializations in the School of Human Services are accredited by The American Counseling Association's Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP).
